Shawne went to St. Rose, then to Newtown High. She died May 19, 2007 in Hartford Hospital. Shawne moved to Norwalk after NHS and per her obituary it appears she did not go to college nor did she have any children. Her obit said "She enjoyed boating with her dearest friends on Long Island Sound before moving back to Sandy Hook with her cat, Izzy."

Shawne Cassidy, age 49, of Sandy Hook, passed away Saturday May 19, 2007, in Hartford Hospital.
She was born in Danbury on March 18, 1958, beloved daughter of Shirley (Shannon) Glynn of Sandy Hook and the late David E. Cassidy Sr. After graduation from Newtown High School in 1976, Shawne made her home and worked in Norwalk. She enjoyed boating with her dearest friends on Long Island Sound before moving back to Sandy Hook with her cat, Izzy.
In addition to her mother, Shawne is survived by her sister, Maureen Manwaring and her husband Roger of Gaylordsville; her sister-in-law, Pam Cassidy; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. Also survived by her longtime friend, Bill McBrinn.
A funeral service will held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007, in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St., Newtown. I knew Shawne from St Rose. Never got to know her well. She seemed so shy. Very sad when Cheryl told me that Shawne was gone.
