Gary was a good friend; we had a blast living the "Caddyshack" lifestyle years before the movie; we worked as caddies during the day and waiters at night at Brae Burn C.C. in Purchase, NY.

As big fans of both teams, we also went to numerous Yankee and Knicks games during those years; he was also a great bowler...Saw him roll a 276 one night.

As most high school classmates do, we drifted apart and really didn't cross paths much; when I was informed of the news of his passing just days after it happened in Arizona - I have to admit I was very shaken up and suddenly not feeling quite so young anymore.

Gary was a good guy, and very funny. We played a lot of intramural basketball together. He had a heckuva long range jump shot. Gary was New York all the way! Yankees, Knicks, you name it. I remember him having a fast car. I think it was a Mustang. He told us one day that he had pulled out of NHS parking, heading for Sandy Hook on Rte. 34, just smokin' it, when he flew past a cop coming in the other direction. Gary said that he just pulled off to the side of the road and waited for the policeman to come flying back and pull in behind him!

I dated Gary for about a year. And yes he did have a mustang...I remember that story too Jon. I also have many good memories of him. Especially how we met on Senior Skip Day. Am sure Helen Pantuso can add a few comments about that day too.

He and I went to the Fore n'Aft in Brewster, NY often. We were there everytime Twisted Sister played. He was a true New Yorker.

Am sorry to hear he had no family. He was a very sweet and caring person. And I have since met someone who has his dream car ~ a 1976 Pantero. I even got to sit in it. What a car!!
